-Discussion in Circle: What is a learning target? What is the learning target for circles? What is the learning target for today's class period?
- Seating Chart Activity: Students will be working together to brainstorm a list of current global issues.
- Seating Chart Activity: Students will be working together in teams to finish a map scavenger hunt.
- Full Class Activity: Students will be competing against each other in teams. They will be trying to find different places on the map.
- Rock Paper Scissors Math
- Exit Ticket: How are your first couple of weeks of high school going? Is there anything you're struggling with? Is there anything me or one of your other teachers can do to help with anything?
-Homework: Pick a current events news article and give a 3-5 sentence summary on the article.
