Tuesday October 1, 2019 & Wednesday October 2, 2019

Learning Target: Students will be learning how to create a classroom community. Students will know and be able to apply the five themes of geography. Students will know local and global geography.

Circle: What would your ideal vacation look like?


Kahoot: We will be playing a Kahoot as a class to prepare for the upcoming test.

Continents & Oceans: Students will be working individually to locate the 7 continents, 5 oceans, and 5 major countries on a blank map.

Specialty Maps: Students will be working in groups to identify what different specialty maps are showing, and what they can prove using the information from the maps.

Study Groups: Students will be working together to study using the note cards they created.

Relative Location: Students will be working together in groups to describe states using relative location.
