Learning Target: Students will be learning how to create a classroom community. Students will know and be able to apply the five themes of geography. Students will know local and global geography.

Circle: What is your favorite show to watch on TV?

Mapping Game: We will be playing a mapping competition game to learn where the major countries are in the world. 

Movement: We will be doing an introduction and note taking on Movement. We will then be doing a group activity looking at what Maine imports and exports.

Region: We will be doing an introduction and note taking on Region. We will then be doing a group activity looking at all the possible regions in Maine.

Human/Environment: We will be doing an introduction and note taking on Human/Environment Interaction. We will then be doing a group activity looking at how people in Maine interact with their environment.
