Learning Target: Students will be learning how to create a classroom community. Students will know and be able to apply the five themes of geography. Students will know local and global geography.

Circle: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Mapping Competition: We will be playing the team mapping competition with the first team to ten points being the winner.

Five Themes: We will be taking notes and doing activities for the five themes of geography.

- Using Longitude and Latitude Activity

- Describing something using relative location

- Describing something using place

- Claim, evidence, warrant paragraph on Maine

- Movement introduction and notes

- What does Maine import? What does Maine export?
